This is an extraordinary opportunity for our team and our CCC colleagues at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) \/ Children\u2019s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). The CCC serves as the nucleus of the IMPACT Network, providing clinical research operations and administrative leadership and oversight. He completed his genetic counseling training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. She is a licensed genetic counselor with over 20 years of clinical research experience and has a longstanding interest in the ethical issues surrounding genetic and translational research and its impact on participating families. In her current and previous positions, Ms. Brewster has implemented and overseen numerous clinical research studies and trials providing guidance on protocol and consent form development, IRB facilitation, infrastructure creation and study staff supervision. She has acted as a consultant to biotech companies conducting clinical research, has served on numerous committees of the National Society of Genetic Counselors and other professional genetics organizations and served for 12 years on the Boston University School of Medicine Genetic Counseling Program Advisory Board. Ms. Brewster is a current member of the BCH Institutional Review Board and a strategic advisor to the Developmental Medicine Clinical Research Laboratories at BCH. In her role, she supports the Clinical Research and Administrative Operations for the TNC. Maddie is the Administrative Manager for the ARIA IMPACT Network Clinical Coordinating Center. She is an expert in the delineation of rare neurodevelopment syndromes, and the translational pipeline to therapeutic development for such conditions. Dr. Chopra obtained her medical qualifications from the University of New South Wales in in 2000, and her specialty qualifications the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Human Genetics Society of Australasia in 2010. Dr Chopra has experience in practicing Clinical Genetics and leading research and educational programs in a range of healthcare systems and cultural settings, having held positions at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (Sydney, Australia), Shanghai First Maternity and Infant Hospital (Shanghai, China) and The Imagine Institute for Genetic Disease (Paris, France). In her current role at BCH, Dr. Chopra serves as Medical Co-Director of Neurogenetics and Neurodevelopment Section in the Department of Neurology, Attending Physician in Genetics &amp; Genomics and Director of Translational Genomic Medicine at the Translational Neuroscience Center. She serves as a Chair of the ClinGen Intellectual Disability \/Autism Gene Curation Expert Panel and site Principal Investigator of the National Brain Gene Registry. In addition to his work with ARIA, he is also the Director of the Data Organization Collaborative Service for the Rosamund Stone Zander Hansjoerg Wyss Translational Neuroscience Center at BCH. In these capacities, he oversees large-scale data integration and harmonization efforts to accelerate discovery in Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.Dr. Cohen received his B.A. in Biology and Biomedical Physics and his M.D. and Ph.D. degrees from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, completed residency training in pediatrics and child neurology at Mayo Clinic, and clinical and postdoctoral research fellowships at Boston Children\u2019s Hospital. He has been a member of the faculty at BCH since 2018 and currently sees patients within the Brain, Mind, and Behavior Center and the Autism Spectrum Center. As Director of the Laboratory of Translational Neuroimaging, his research focuses on bedside-to-bedside translation: leveraging lesion network mapping and pharmaco-fMRI to identify the causal neural circuits underlying symptoms of autism and ADHD that could serve as targets for non-invasive neuromodulation, e.g., transcranial magnetic stimulation and real-time fMRI neurofeedback. Dies, ScM, CGC<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"faculty-title\"><span>ARIA IMPACT Network Study Operations Director<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ms. Dies received her ScM in Genetic Counseling in 2003 from a joint program through Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the National Human Genome Research Institute. She is a board certified and licensed genetic counselor in Massachusetts. She has worked in various roles at Boston Children\u2019s Hospital (BCH), including Senior Genetic Counseling Program Manager and Co-Director of Clinical Research Operations of the Translational Neuroscience Center. In January 2021, she was named Executive Director of the new Rosamund Stone Zander and Hansjoerg Wyss Translational Neuroscience Center at BCH. In 2024, Ms. Dies completed a fellowship in bioethics at the Harvard Medical School Center for Bioethics. She is an Ethics Associate on the Ethics Advisory Committee and an Affiliate of the HMS Center for Bioethics. Additionally, she is a clinical instructor at the Boston University School of Medicine Genetic Counseling Graduate Program where she co-teaches the ethics curriculum. She is also a faculty member of the Boston Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) Program. In addition, she serves on the Board of Directors for the CureAP4 hereditary spastic paraplegia patient advocacy organization. She is on the Board of Directors and serves as Treasurer for New England Regional Genetics Group (NERGG). She co-directs the Research Subcommittee of the Neuroscience Family Advisory Council at BCH. With over eight years of experience in clinical research and data management, Shannon has led and contributed to large-scale genetics studies at Boston Children\u2019s Hospital and Brigham and Women\u2019s Hospital. Her research interests include cognitive science, neurobiology, neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders. Lemoine is the Clinical Research Regulatory Manager at the Rosamund Stone Zander and Hansjoerg Wyss Translational Neuroscience Center at Boston Children\u2019s Hospital. She is also the Regulatory Manager for the ARIA IMPACT Clinical Coordinating Center (BCH). She brings more than 13 years of experience in clinical research and has a sustained interest in how research affects families and communities. Before joining Boston Children\u2019s Hospital, she spent nearly eight years at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she built and managed a research portfolio that included investigator-initiated, sponsor-initiated, and central IRB studies focused on enhancing clinical care and quality of life for patients with cancer. Across both her current and prior roles, Ms. Lemoine has led and supported numerous clinical research studies and trials, with responsibilities spanning protocol and informed consent development, IRB submissions and study maintenance, and oversight of study staff. In addition to his roles as founder and Managing Director of our Center, Dr. Sahin is the Rosamund Stone Zander Professor at Boston Children\u2019s Hospital, Co-Director of the IDDRC (Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center), and Director of the Translational Research Program at Boston Children\u2019s Hospital. In 2023, Dr. Sahin was elected to the National Academy of Medicine. As a physician-scientist, he runs a laboratory focused on investigating the basic mechanisms by which nerve cells communicate with one another.
